Condition Report: This genuine Patek Philippe timepiece is a rare example of an early Patek yellow gold gents “tegolino” dress watch. This watch is in fair to good condition for a vintage watch of it’s age and provenance. This is an original owner watch, this timepiece has been inspected, and tested prior to sale – movement functioning as normal. Comes with official Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives paperwork. *This Patek reference debuted in 1934 and was in production until 1960 when it was superseded by the Reference 2461. Art Deco-inspired and classically handsome, it stood alongside the Calatrava Reference 96 in the Patek catalog as one of the maison’s flagship dress watches. The watch’s caseback engraving reads “To Hy from Louise/July 1944” further reinforcing it’s early production provenance.
