16.67 carat Burma unheated Padparadscha Sapphire and Diamond Ring

This rare and striking 16.67 carat Padparadscha Sapphire is of a Burma origin, and comes accompanied by a Gubelin gem laborartory report stating this is a natural unheated sapphire (lab report no. 15055034) The 16.67 carat cushion cut Padparadscha is set in a stunning 18 karat rose gold custom made setting with approximately 5.45 carat total weight of gem-white round cut diamonds. Ring is a size 7.
*Shreve, Crump & Low Graduate Gemologist commentary: The term Padparadscha (Pad-pa-raj-sha) is derived through the German language from padmaragaya (padma = lotus, raga = color), the yellow-pink-peach colored Oriental Lotus flower.  As the unique color of this sapphire is liken to that of a freshly blossomed Lotus flower.
